Our wallpapers will stick to most painted surfaces like painted plaster. However some paints contain teflon and other additives that won’t allow the wallpaper to adhere to the paint. It is up to you or your installer to peel off the wallpaper and feel if the wallpaper will adhere to the paint.
If it feels like it has a very low adhesion or simply falls off, we would recommend an undercoat first to allow the wallpaper to adhere.
An easy to purchase option is low VOC “CEILING PAINT” in white , available from most hardware and paint stores.
Additionally we use and recommend Vipond’s Self Adhesive Prep Coat(http://www.viponds.com.au/digital-print-prep-products) which is available around Australia.
Our wallpapers will not stick to textured surfaces such as raw MDF, wood or concrete, render etc. For textured walls like this please contact our team to discuss alternative materials. 1300 447 234 / firstname.lastname@example.org
