BEDROOM WEEK:
Our first official week on site @ the Block, working with the lovely Jenny & Dylan & Tom & Sarah-Jayne. Jenny settled on a classic “Gingham pattern” which we over-scaled to create a dramatic effect especially in the subtle nude tones. Finally Sarah Jayne and I put our creative minds together to custom design this “French Toile” inspired wallpaper gathering additional inspo from Gisborne’s amazing European oak trees. BATHROOM WEEK:
It’s all about wallpaper in the bathroom this week! We worked with the lovely @ankurandsharon employing a stunning landscape artwork of Macedon Ranges from way back in 1897 in a traditional etched engraving style. We re-coloured the art to a subtle sage green. Then @dylanandjenny are back – with our Australian ferns wallpaper – restyled just for them – in a warmer tone with a stunning linen background. MASTER BEDROOM WEEK:
Taking you ‘behind the muddy scenes’ for ‘master bedroom week’ on The Block! We worked with the lovely @dylanandjenny who continued the Australian ferns wallpaper for a beautiful warm bedroom. Then @rachelandryan chose a vintage etched image of “Hanging Rock” in a subtle sand tone which contrasted beautifully against the stack stone wall! GUEST BEDROOM WEEK:
A big week for #grafico this week with Tom & Sarah Jayne bringing back tartan into fashion! Then Rachel & Ryan used a classic Australian Farm Land wallpaper in a soft sage green – finally Dylan & Jenny used the very popular concrete ‘stucco veneziano’ wallpaper. Even Scotty got in to the ‘grafico groove’ using a specially designed wallpaper this week – but you’ll have to tune in next week for that reveal! THE CHALLENGE HOUSE
A heart warming home reveal on tonight’s The Block! When @tomandsarahjane & @rachelandryan called us asking us to donate custom printed wallpaper for the special needs home of Tim & Tyler –
OF COURSE we said YES! What a great cause!

We designed a series of tactile wallpapers to create warmth, movement and help add some fun colour to the rooms. Both boys love water, so in one room a ‘Perfect Wave’ wallpaper was used. Plus a waterfall mural in the lounge, a basketball court mural in the living, and a car/automotive line art pattern in the other bedroom. It was absolutely fantastic to be involved in this special project. Seeing everyone’s reactions to the renovation made it truly worthwhile! 🙏 😃
SCOTTY CAM’S HOUSE – BEDROOM
The Blockheads finally let Grafico head over to Scotty Cam’s house this week! Spreading the #graficowalls love to all the homes! This week we’ve created a stunning textured linen striped wallpaper in a dusty pink colour palette which complements the bathroom for the ultimate pink vibes.

LIVING & DINING WEEK: SHARON & ANKUR
Whilst we had fun finishing off the challenge house this week – we ALSO headed back to @ankurandsharon house completing a wallpaper in the living and dining room. Instead of applying the wallpaper edge to edge, this time it was placed in the centre of the wall and ‘framed’ using timber just like a giant canvas on the wall. A simple yet effective way to use wallpaper more like a hanging artwork.

SCOTTY CAM’S HOUSE: ANNA BLATMAN x GRAFICO WALLS – POWDERROOM
A collaboration between artist @annablatman & Grafico-Walls – translating Anna’s stunning artwork on to custom print Grafico wallpaper. Thanks to @theblockshop & @scottycamofficial for putting all us creative people together. We are truly thankful to The Block team for pushing the boundaries each and every season creating such bespoke and creative projects!

HALLWAY WEEK: TOM & SARAH-JAYNE
For this week’s hallway space on @theblock Tom & Sarah-Jayne featured our “Plaid – Grey & Bronze” custom print wallpaper! A beautiful nod to the country style of this home!
KIDS BEDROOMS
It’s KIDS ROOMS this week! Completing all 5 homes in one record week! From subtle leaf patterns, forrest murals, trees and star constellations to even wallpaper on the ceiling – this week had it all! Let @Damian_Corney take you on a tour of all the rooms completed.

SCOTTY CAM’S HOUSE – BEDROOM
Heading over to Scotty Cam’s house with this stunning Linen Striped wallpaper in dusty blue. What a stunning blue themed bedroom!

With the houses looking like actual homes now – We’re back inside completing some of the last internal spaces.
Tom & Sarah-Jayne got their tartan on again this time in a pinky brandy rose hue, then Rachel & Ryan chose a subtle yet stunning striped linen wallpaper. Finally Omar and Oz chose our very popular distressed concrete wallpaper and last but not least, Sharon & Ankur used our Classic Bouquet in Brandy colour hue.

SHEDS + WFH SPACES
This is it! The last interior spaces on The Block 2022! This week we worked with Rachel & Ryan who have turned their WFH space in to a tranquil wine tasting and parents retreat overlooking their actual vineyard!
We custom designed this huge “Florence Fresco” wallpaper which brings in 19th century vintage illustration of Florence, Italy showcased amongst illustrated trees, olive and grape vines over a warm textured background reminiscent of ancient fresco artworks. A true statement piece for your walls!
Finally Tom & Sarah-Jayne chose two of our popular “Vintage Victoria Travel Poster Series” framed in a classic black box frame with white mount. Check them out here!

GARDENS / LANDSCAPING WEEK
Our last official week on The Block!
Scotty Cam contacted the Grafico team to add some pizazz to the splashback on the BBQ area. We used our custom print resin mosaic tiles which were flown over just for Scotty in record Block time!
