Yes, if you’d like a envelope sized sample to confirm the finish of the wallpaper we can arrange that free of charge – you just need to order via [email protected] and we can arrange this to be sent to you. 

We don’t keep all samples of all our designs in stock, so if you’re after a specific sample of a wallpaper that you are after this can be printed for you however there will be a small charge to cover the printing and postage costs. You can also request a large sized sample if required.

The short answer is…no…and that’s a good thing!

We print onto a self-adhesive, removable vinyl base film. So it’s similar to traditional wallpaper, however there’s no messy glues/pastes and nightmare removal process! Being removable also means that when the drops are being installed you can peel it back to get the drops to line up making the install process a lot easier.

Wallpaper is supplied in nice large approx. 1.2m wide drops with a 10-15mm overlap. An overlap is necessary with all digital print wallpapers.

Unlike some other products on the market, Grafico use high quality films sourced from American and European manufacturers. The self-adhesive vinyl films are specifically designed for wall murals in both domestic & commercial locations.

Yes we have 3 finishes available. 

SMOOTH – similar to a low-sheen painted wall, so it’s not glossy and has a nice smooth satin/matte finish. Most popular for various applications. 

CANVAS – has a beautiful embossed canvas texture. Canvas is probably our most popular product especially in residential applications as when you walk up to the wallpaper you can see the real texture in the film. 

STUCCO – also embossed with a ‘stucco’ rendered look. Generally this finish is only used for designs like our concrete wallpapers etc. It’s not usually recommended for our other designs, however it is possible should you wish to order it!

As all our wallpapers are custom printed to order in-house, there is no exact set size – we make the wallpaper to fit your wall. Generally each ‘drops’ is up to 1200mm wide.

Our wallpapers will stick to most painted surfaces like painted plaster. However some paints contain teflon and other additives that won’t allow the wallpaper to adhere to the paint. It is up to you or your installer to peel off the wallpaper and feel if the wallpaper will adhere to the paint. 

If it feels like it has a very low adhesion or simply falls off, we would recommend an undercoat first to allow the wallpaper to adhere. 

We use and recommend Vipond’s Self Adhesive Prep Coat (http://www.viponds.com.au/digital-print-prep-products) which is available around Australia.

Our wallpapers will not stick to textured surfaces such as raw MDF, wood or concrete, render etc. for textured walls like this please contact our team to discuss alternative materials. 1300 447 234 / [email protected]

No. Our wallpaper is removable (can be taken off your wall without pulling away the paint underneath*) but once it is removed, it cannot be reused.

To obtain a quote we will need a photo of your wall/area as well as suburb/location and wall dimensions. 

If you’re out of Melbourne and require installation assistance you can contact our team and we can send you a list of recommended local installers in your state. If you’re in an area we don’t have a recommended installer, we would generally recommend a local sign company to install the wallpaper as generally they are more proficient to install self-adhesive wallpapers over more traditional wallpaper installers which are more used to paste to the wall products. As our wallpapers are a vinyl not paper base, they can be installed successfully in bathrooms direct to a painted plaster wall or undercover al-fresco area. However should not be installed if water will be splashed constantly eg. In a shower, splashback or fully outdoors.

Using a tape measure measure the full ‘width’ (left to right) and “height” (top to bottom) of your wall and record the measurements down. 

Enter in your measurement in to the shop item ensuring “mm” Millimetres are used. Don’t enter in any commas, decimal points etc as this will show an error. 

It’s common to have walls with doors or windows in the wall. We suggest you order the wall including these items so you have additional wallpaper to trim around these areas. 

If your wall is irregular shaped, over 4m high or simply ‘out of the box’ we suggest you email some photos and rough dimensions to [email protected] and our team can review and help you work out measurements or even process the order manually. You can also call us on 1300 447 234.

All our wallpapers are printed using the latest in HP “Latex Ink” technology. 

HP Latex Inks are pigmented, water-based inks using HP’s innovative aqueous-dispersed polymer (“Latex”) technology. The water-based formulations of HP Latex Inks reduce the impact of printing on the environment. 

As the major component of HP Latex Inks, water offers important benefits to large format and industrial production environments: water produces no VOCs, requires no special handling, and is non-toxic, non-flammable, and non-combustible. 

Putting it simply using this latest technology means your wallpapers won’t fade quickly and will still look amazing in years to come!

Grafico offers a 12month year guarantee against fading and adhesion issues caused by a fault in the product or printing method. 

Please note: Although in most cases the wallpaper film is removable, Grafico does not guarantee removability with zero damage to the wall from the following substrates:

– Surfaces with poor paint-to-substrate adhesion
– Wallboard
– Existing graphics that must remain intact; damage to existing graphic when film is removed
– Aged paint or metal that may have surface oxidation or chalking
– Outdoor, horizontal surfaces

Grafico does not warrant damage to the interior wall surface caused by removing film even if a removable adhesive was used. Removing a graphic can cause damage to the wall. Due to the variety of wall surfaces Grafico cannot guarantee damage free removal.
