A very special bespoke project working with one of Australia’s leading pre-owned luxury car dealerships – Lorbek Luxury Cars.

Our design team worked alongside Lorbek management to create a truely unique showroom celebrating all things ‘motoring’. From custom wallpapers, 3D signage and even custom printed mosaic tiles, this showroom certainly has it all.

Starting from the exterior, large LED lightboxes were fabricated in the shape of the Lorbek shield. Additionally 2.5m high “LORBEK” lettering was also fabricated to further name the building ensuring the lettering could be seen well and truely from as far away as the west-gate bridge which sits close by to the Port Melbourne premises.

Internally the brief was to create a space that celebrated the history of exotic vehicles and motorsport. Specially designed items that stand out immediately upon entry include a wide stretched banner which simulates a ‘mezzanine’ on the wall featuring iconic exotic cars from around the world. The enormous 35m banner was produced in one piece which proved a challenge for our installation team, however created a seamless look.

Another piece central to the design of the building is the custom print mosaic wall. Using Grafico’s exclusive product “Mosaico Digitale” enables almost any image to be produced to only 2mm thick light-weight resin mosaic tiles. Once installed and grouted like regular tiles the effect is amazingly unique and tactile.

Additionally various other custom printed wallpapers and canvas frames were produced throughout the building. We even produced a floor graphic to simulate the F1 pit area to house an actual to-scale Ferrari F1 replica car!

All together a spectacular project to be involved in and certainly one that deserves a visit in person to the showroom to fully comprehend the space.
