The Carlton Football Club’s Visy Park has received a full makeover with an amazing range of custom wall coverings from Grafico.

Carlton FC liaised with the Grafico design team to conceptualise the graphics for the feature walls.

Central to the feature walls was the “Mosaico Digitale” tiled collage wall celebrating the clubs 150 years. Working closely with the clubs management, the Grafico design team designed a collage utilising a range of images sourced over the clubs history. The result is a timeline starting at the clubs initiation to current day. Premiership cups from corresponding years were then placed over the top of the digital print resin tiles (Mosaico Digitale) to create an amazing feature piece for visitors to the club as well as beautifying the space for the club’s staff. Utilising Mosaico Digitale enabled the client to totally customise the print as well as the shape of the tiles.

Further feature walls were produced in our custom digital print wallpaper to showcase the ‘greatest marks’ of the club’s history along with a mock ‘press conference’ area for visitors to put themselves in the seat of a coach at a media conference.

The final feature wall was created from from Robert Wall’s old sketch pad from the 1984 Grand Final. The original sketch showed the teams ‘game play’ for the game including who played in what position etc. Using our digital print machinery our design team was able to enlarge the sketch pad to a full wall feature and re-arrange to suit the space. The text was then printed and cut using a contrasting blue vinyl for a subtle ‘watermark’ look which enhanced the existing blue wall yet did not take over form the LCD screens.
